Synthetic cannabinoids like WIN55,212-2 show anti-fibrotic activity by reducing extracellular matrix deposition and reversing abnormal fibroblast behavior in diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (dcSSc). This suggests cannabinoids may offer a new therapeutic approach for fibrosis diseases.
