Summary

New prostate cancer (PCa) biomarkers in blood and urine, including PCA3 and TMPRSS2-ERG, improve diagnostic accuracy. Combining these with PSA tests and multivariate models offers the most promising approach to enhance specificity and reduce unnecessary biopsies.
