Summary

This study introduces a double retrograde labeling method using horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and tritiated bovine serum albumin ([(3)H]BSA) to trace neural connections. The technique successfully identified collateral innervation from single cell types in the entorhinal cortex to the hippocampus.
