Objective:
To report the use of laparoendoscopic single-site surgery for the management of ectopic pregnancy.
Design:
Case report.
Setting:
University hospital.
Patient(S):
A 25-year-old woman with a 7-week ectopic pregnancy and pelvic inflammatory disease.
Intervention(S):
Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery and broad-spectrum antibiotics.
Main Outcome Measure(S):
Complete resolution of the ectopic pregnancy and pelvic inflammatory disease.
Result(S):
A detailed description of the technique of a single-site surgery for management of ectopic pregnancy.
Conclusion(S):
Our case presents the first report of single-site surgery for treating ectopic pregnancy.
