Abstract:
There is a health and health care crisis in Zimbabwe which is affecting HIV/AIDS patients, and which is a "direct outcome of the malfeasance of the Mugabe regime and the systematic violation of a wide range of human rights, including...an egregious failure to respect, protect and fulfill the right to health." This is one of the conclusions of a report prepared by Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) following an investigation conducted in Zimbabwe in December 2008.
