[Dermoid cysts of intracranial location]

The paper provides the reported data on the incidence, localization, clinical manifestations, course, diagnosis and treatment of dermoid cysts. Describes three cases of dermoid cysts verified by computed tomography and surgery. Presents a case of an atypical dermoid cyst with an outbreak of the cyst contents to the brain ventricles and origination of purulent meningitis. Shows the high information content of computed tomography in respect to intravital diagnosis of that type of pathology.
