[Health-related and pathogenetic aspects of vascular diseases of the nervous system]
Insights
A new concept explains the development of nervous system vascular diseases by examining their evolutionary, developmental, and dynamic processes. This framework aids in creating effective prevention programs for cerebrovascular diseases.
Area of Science:
- Neuroscience
- Pathophysiology
- Vascular Biology
Background:
- Vascular diseases of the nervous system pose a significant health challenge.
- Understanding the dynamic processes of disease development (pathogenesis) and health (sanogenesis) is crucial.
Purpose of the Study:
- To develop a comprehensive concept for the dynamic patho- and sanogenesis of nervous system vascular diseases.
- To provide a foundation for developing prevention strategies for cerebrovascular diseases.
Main Methods:
- Clinico-physiological studies.
- Analysis of evolutionary (phylogenesis) and developmental (ontogenesis) data.
- Assessment of reactivity, adaptability, complexity, and dynamism of the disease process.
Main Results:
- A novel concept integrating multiple biological and clinical factors was established.
- The concept highlights the dynamic, multi-stage nature of vascular disease development in the nervous system.
Conclusions:
- The proposed concept offers a unified understanding of nervous system vascular diseases.
- This framework is essential for designing targeted and effective prevention programs for cerebrovascular conditions.
Abstract:
A concept of the dynamic patho- and sanogenesis of vascular diseases of the nervous system was developed on the basis of clinico-physiological studies. The concept is based on the data on the philo- and ontogenesis, reactivity and adaptability+, complexity and dynamism, stages and phases of the process. The concept suggested may serve the basis for elaborating the program of preventing cerebrovascular diseases.
