Midbrain hyperechogenicity in idiopathic REM sleep behavior disorder

Idiopathic REM sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) patients show increased midbrain echogenicity on transcranial sonography (TCS). This finding suggests midbrain hyperechogenicity may serve as an early Parkinson's disease (PD) risk marker.
