Abstract:
Ratio of active (sum of absolute numbers of locomotion and rearings in 5 min sessions during 3 days of observation) to passive (sum of rates of periods of movements of a sitting mouse and of periods of absolute immobility) forms of behaviour (we call it an "integrative A/P coefficient") was much higher in short-sleep than in long-sleep male mice. The former group may be characterized as a low, and the latter as a high adaptive behaviour population.
