Abstract:
Fertility programs may withhold services when there are reasonable grounds for thinking that patients will not provide adequate child-rearing to offspring but are not obligated to do so. This document was reviewed in June 2009 and while no changes were made, this version does replace the previous version of this document, published in September 2004.
