Summary

Upregulating DAF levels in transgenic mice reduced central nervous system (CNS) injury and inflammation in an experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model. This suggests DAF may be a therapeutic target for T cell-mediated diseases like multiple sclerosis.
