Multifocal electroretinography changes in patients on ethambutol therapy

Multifocal electroretinography (mfERG) revealed subtle peripheral macular changes in visually asymptomatic patients undergoing ethambutol therapy for tuberculosis. These electrophysiological alterations may indicate localized metabolic or physiological effects of ethambutol.
