Design of a XeF-pumped second Stokes amplifier for blue-green production in H(2)

A design of a XeF-pumped second Stokes amplifier using H(2) is presented. It is based on our previously published computer model [J. H. Newton and G. M. Schindler, Opt. Lett. 6, 125 (1981)], which describes all resonant parametric and Raman processes involving frequencies up to fifth-order Stokes waves in a multiple-Raman-shifting amplifier using H(2). Design choices were based on optimizing performance for expected intensity fluctuations of an ebeam-pumped XeF driver.
