Abstract:
A 53-year-old woman developed a high-grade spindle cell sarcoma in a rhytidectomy incision. Early diagnosis was confounded by the presence of a recent surgical incision. This case report underlines the importance of maintaining a low threshold for tissue biopsy. It also demonstrates the capacity for free vascularised nerve graft to withstand the effects of radiotherapy.
