Abstract:
Loss of identity in Alzheimer's disease concerns successively mind and body. The disturbance of the body image is emphasized from the first stage of the disease to that of physical dependency. Identity disorder is also implicated in the caring relationship through the attack of identity of the formal and informal caregivers.
