Concordance between substance P levels and antiemetic guidelines

Antagonists of the substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptor pathway are now standard antiemetics. This study found substance P levels correlate with chemotherapy-induced vomiting, supporting NK1 antagonist use.
