Tocopherol succinate: a promising radiation countermeasure

Alpha-tocopherol succinate (TS), a vitamin E derivative, significantly protects mice from lethal radiation. This radioprotectant stimulates G-CSF, reducing radiation-induced blood cell deficiencies.
