Possibilities and limitations of equilibrium sampling using polydimethylsiloxane in fish tissue

Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) thin-film sampling rapidly measures pollutants in fatty fish tissue. However, equilibrium is not reached in low-lipid fish within a week, limiting this method for leaner species.
