Context:

Reflective practice in a public hospital in Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Focus on interpersonal and self-care dynamics among nursing staff.
Exploration of relationships within the Complexity paradigm.

Purpose:

To report on a reflective practice initiative with nursing professionals.
To investigate the problem of self, other, and collective care relationships.
To apply the Complexity paradigm to understanding these relationships.

Summary:

Five workshops, each with three meetings, were conducted with selected nursing professionals.
Systematic analysis of participant speech content revealed key units of meaning.
The practice fostered deeper comprehension of I-other-us and I-other-us-environment relationships.

Impact:

Enhanced understanding of the intricate dynamics in human relationships within healthcare.
Improved insights into reciprocal exchanges in a complex world.
Strengthened comprehension of self-care, interpersonal care, and collective care among professionals.
