Reduced orbitofrontal and parietal gray matter in chronic insomnia: a voxel-based morphometric study

Chronic insomnia patients exhibit reduced gray matter (GM) volume in key brain regions, particularly the orbitofrontal cortex. This structural change significantly correlates with the severity of insomnia symptoms.
