Summary

The free superficial circumflex inferior artery (SCIA)/superficial inferior epigastric artery (SIEA) flap is a viable option for upper extremity reconstruction, offering good aesthetic and functional outcomes with minimal donor site morbidity. This flap provides adequate tissue and a reliable vascular pedicle, making it a preferred choice for soft-tissue reconstruction.
