[Specific features of morphogenesis of pulmonary tuberculomas in the Far North]
Abstract:
Different variants of morphogenesis of pulmonary tuberculomas were studied in 302 patients residing in the Far North. It was shown that morphogenesis of caseous foci starts from extensive infiltrate of lymphohematogenous tuberculosis, includes formation of many large tuberculomas and pronounced lung tissue fibrosis. Both indigenous and non-indigenous subjects most frequently develop homogeneous tuberculomas. Layered tuberculomas and filled cavernae more frequently occur among indigenous population. Natives had multiple tuberculomas and tuberculomas originating from primary tuberculosis twice as often as non-indigenous individuals.
