Maximal strength training improves walking performance in peripheral arterial disease patients

Maximal strength training (MST) significantly boosts muscle strength and improves walking economy and performance in peripheral arterial disease (PAD) patients. This suggests MST can be a valuable addition to PAD treatment strategies.
