The beta-blockers are the most important group of medicaments. Anticoagulants and antiarrhythmic drugs are used within limited and defined indication. A broad application of thrombocyte aggregation inhibitors seems to be justified according to latest studies. The consequent elimination of coronary risk factors has ascertained prognostic effects.
