Elevated platelet-monocyte complexes in patients with psoriatic arthritis

Platelet-monocyte complexes (PMC) were elevated in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients, suggesting a role in disease pathogenesis. Soluble E-selectin (sE-selectin) indicated endothelial activation in both PsA and psoriasis.

- Endothelial activation may contribute to the pathogenesis of psoriasis and PsA.
- Platelet activation, specifically PMC, might play a role in PsA pathogenesis.
