Summary

Total esophagogastric dissociation (Bianchi's procedure) offers a solution for severe gastroesophageal reflux when fundoplication fails. Laparoscopic total esophagogastric dissociation is feasible, even in patients with respiratory issues, though internal hernia remains a risk.
