Rabies

Rabies is a lethal zoonotic disease caused by a single-stranded, negative-sense RNA virus of the Lyssavirus genus, within the family Rhabdoviridae. Summary

A novel tumor-like condition in cottontail rabbits is transmissible to other rabbits but not to rodents or chickens. This fibroma-like tumor presents distinct clinical and pathological features in affected animals.
