ANTIBODY FORMATION IN A TUBERCULOUS LESION AT THE SITE OF INOCULATION

Antibody formation occurs locally at the injection site of heat-killed tubercle bacilli in oil, appearing before in blood serum. This local antibody production is supported by evidence of higher concentrations at the lesion site.
