Delayed presentation of posttraumatic aortic false aneurysm with chronic cough

A chronic false aneurysm of the descending aorta in a young man, caused by a prior car accident, was successfully treated with surgery. This intervention resolved his chronic cough and led to a symptom-free recovery.
