Measuring Magnetically-Tuned Ferroelectric Polarization in Liquid Crystals
Published on: August 15, 2018
Periodically poled ferroelectrics exhibit reduced photorefractive damage compared to homogeneous crystals. This is due to the photogalvanic effect being suppressed by the poling-grating wave vector, enhancing material resistance.
