Propofol interruption of ECT seizure to reduce side-effects: a pilot study

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) can be improved with propofol. This anesthesia agent helped prevent prolonged seizures and cognitive side effects in depressed patients undergoing ECT treatments.
