Abstract:
Large numbers of women need gynaecological interventions for a range of problems associated with uterine fibroids. Women who are affected need clear information that can help them understand their condition and make an informed choice about treatment options. There is a much higher incidence of the condition among African-Caribbean women, who often experience more severe symptoms. This group of women need relevant health information about fibroids.
