Mitoxantrone treatment in multiple sclerosis induces TH2-type cytokines

Mitoxantrone treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS) boosts TH2 cytokine production, specifically interleukin-4 (IL-4) and IL-5, in T cells. This immune modulation may explain its therapeutic benefits in progressive MS.
