AED in Europe. Report on a survey

European public access defibrillator (AED) programs show progress, with most ambulances equipped and some countries allowing widespread AED use. However, community responder programs and data collection for AED planning remain limited across Europe.

- Despite progress, substantial challenges remain in establishing comprehensive and widespread AED programs, particularly concerning community involvement and data-driven planning.
