Risk factors for retinal arteriolar emboli in coronary artery disease

- RAE were significantly more frequent in patients with LDL-C levels > 100 mg/dl.

Conclusions:
- Hypercholesterolemia and elevated LDL-C are prevalent in patients with RAE undergoing CABG.
- Identifying and managing modifiable risk factors like high LDL-C may be crucial for preventing RAE in this patient cohort.
