Summary

This study introduces a new ultrasound imaging method, pulse-inversion harmonic sum-squared-differences (PIHSSD), for accurate blood perfusion quantification. The PIHSSD method enhances contrast-to-tissue ratio and improves parametric perfusion imaging on low-cost ultrasound platforms.
