Summary

The posterior circulation Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (pc-ASPECTS) on diffusion-weighted MRI (DWI) effectively predicts functional outcomes in posterior circulation stroke patients. Higher pc-ASPECTS scores correlate with better outcomes, indicating its value in stroke prognostication.
