Abstract:
Although obstructed left-sided colorectal cancer has traditionally been treated by a series of staged operations, there has been recent interest in the one-stage immediate resection technique. The case of a 72 year old woman who required 4 operations for obstructed left-sided colorectal cancer is presented.
