Does background postnatal methyl mercury exposure in toddlers affect cognition and behavior?

This study found no detectable adverse effects of methylmercury (MeHg) on children's IQ or behavior at current U.S. exposure levels. While lead exposure showed significant impacts, MeHg showed weak, non-significant associations with cognitive and behavioral outcomes in children.
