  • To investigate the short-term effects of alcohol ingestion on calcium, magnesium, and phosphate metabolism.
  • To determine the impact of acute alcohol consumption on calciotropic hormone levels.

  • Serum and urinary calcium, magnesium, and phosphate levels were measured.
