Lipoprotein(a) apheresis using the Lipocollect 200 adsorber effectively reduced Lp(a) and LDL cholesterol in patients with progressive coronary heart disease. The reusable adsorber demonstrated good biocompatibility and efficacy over 50 treatment sessions.

- The Lipocollect 200 LDL Lp(a) adsorber is an effective and well-tolerated therapeutic option for reducing Lp(a) and LDL cholesterol in patients with hyperLp(a)lipoproteinemia and coronary heart disease.
- The adsorber's reusability and biocompatibility support its clinical application.
- This apheresis technique offers a valuable treatment modality when diet and medication are insufficient.
