A distributed, collaborative intelligent agent system approach for proactive postmarketing drug safety surveillance

A new intelligent agent system, ADRMonitor, proactively detects unknown adverse drug reactions (ADRs) using electronic health records. ADRMonitor significantly outperforms traditional spontaneous reporting in identifying ADR signal pairs and accelerates early detection.
