Summary

The Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT) may be a better cognitive measure for the Multiple Sclerosis Functional Composite (MSFC) than the Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test (PASAT). SDMT-based MSFC shows similar reliability but improved prediction of MS disease outcomes.
