Abstract:
Conservation Education has gone through a transformation since it was originally introduced. Numerous primatologists, working in all regions of the world where primates are endemic, have been extremely proactive in the application of Conservation Education (CE) and CE principles in their work. Here, I discuss the ongoing threats to primate populations around the world. Finally, I introduce a framework that can guide primatologists, as we move forward and face the challenges of the twenty-first century.
