Hypoxia-inducible factor-1alpha (HIF-1alpha) expression predicts better outcomes in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients treated with rituximab-CHOP. This finding highlights HIF-1alpha as a key prognostic biomarker for improved survival in DLBCL.

- HIF-1alpha protein expression is a significant independent favorable prognostic factor in DLBCL patients treated with R-CHOP.
- HIF-1alpha positivity is associated with substantially improved progression-free and overall survival.
- Further research may explore targeting HIF pathways in DLBCL treatment strategies.
