Ectopic kidney is a rare congenital anomaly where the kidney fails to ascend to its normal anatomical position.
Such anomalies are often asymptomatic and discovered incidentally during organ recovery procedures.
Understanding renal vasculature variations is crucial for successful organ procurement.

Observation:

A case report details an ectopic kidney with normal function, suitable for transplantation.
The anomaly presented unique vascular anatomy, with renal vasculature ascending from iliac vessels.
Damage to two renal arteries occurred due to this anatomical variation during organ recovery.
