Calcific panniculitis in adult-onset dermatomyositis

Dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory condition, can present with calcific panniculitis. Combination anti-malarial therapy with mepacrine and hydroxychloroquine effectively managed pain and functional loss in two adult cases.
