Summary

Resin modified glass ionomer (RMGI) and compomer (COM) offer comparable longevity to amalgam (AM) in primary teeth. Conventional glass ionomer (GI) restorations showed shorter longevity, suggesting new materials don't always outperform older ones clinically.
