Colchicinoids from Colchicum crocifolium Boiss. (Colchicaceae)

A new colchicinoid, N,N-dimethyl-N-deacetyl-(-)-cornigerine, was isolated from Colchicum crocifolium. This compound and others showed potent anticancer activity against human cancer cells.
