Abstract:
To obtain an accurate urinalysis result, the process from the sampling to completion of the examination should be carried out as quickly as possible. Management of fresh urine is important for this purpose. While urinalysis should basically be performed immediately after voiding, the sample should be maintained in a refrigerator (4 degrees C) if this is not possible. Adequate preservation of the urine according to the purpose of the test is important.
